The H2O Tour was the second tour that we had the opportunity to design a laser show for Brad. Each night we produced a laser show to "Welcome to the Future (Reprise)" at the very beginning of the show to get the crowd super excited. To create these effects, we used two Sollinger/Laser Animation 23-watt RGB lasers. While these German lasers have excellent beam quality, they are insanely expensive at approximately $230,000 each. Despite the expense, we were thrilled to be able to provide such stunning effects for Brad's tour. On subsequent tours with Brad, we used up to six 20-watt Kvant Spectrum lasers. On the Virtual Reality Tour we worked with Brad to create a complete laser graphics module for Southern Comfort Zone, which was projected onto a 39' high by 60' wide sharkstooth scrim hung across the downstage edge. Images featured Brad flying like Superman all around the world. He even got to try his hand at laser animation. We didn't have an image of the kind of tractor he wanted, so he drew an animation of one, sent it to us, and we digitized it. Later tours included a 30' high animation of Brad playing guitar, projected onto the scrim.
